Pilates - The History
The Pilates method is a form of exercise designed to condition the entire body. The technique focuses on the core postural muscles that help keep the body balanced and the spine in good alignment. Pilates teaches you how to use the correct muscles necessary for ideal posture and trunk stability, how to strengthen relatively weak muscles, lengthen short muscles and improve joint flexibility.

Sports Massage
Sports massage which is a beneficial manipulation of the soft tissues was originally developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. It is used to aid the prevention and healing of injuries, reduce soreness and tension, and improve relaxation by reducing heart rate and blood pressure. Sports Massage is a useful tool.

GYROTONIC®
The GYROTONIC® Method uses specialized equipment that permits one to move with support and resistance and emphasizes continuous, flowing movements, synchronized with corresponding breath patterns. Benefits that may be gained by practicing GYROTONICS® are increased circulation; cardiovascular stimulation; increased mobility of the joints; stimulation and mobilization of the spine.

Tui Na Massage
Tui na is an Oriental Bodywork Therapy that has been used in China for 2,000 years. Tui na uses the traditional Chinese medical theory of the flow of Qi through the meridians (energy pathways) as its basic therapeutic orientation. Through the application of massage and manipulation techniques Tui na seeks to establish a more harmonious flow of Qi allowing the body to naturally heal itself.
